Freddy Maza, DVM
Dr. Freddy Maza works in both the emergency and general practice at Pieper Veterinary. Dr. Maza is originally from Ecuador, but lived in New York City for close to ten years before beginning veterinary school. He achieved his degree in veterinary medicine from Ross University. After completing a year-long internship at Pieper Veterinary with our surgery specialty department, he stayed on as an emergency veterinarian in our Middletown hospital as well as performing primary care surgeries in our Stratford location.
Dr. Maza has a special interest in both surgery as well as shelter medicine, which involves caring for animals in a rescue or animal shelter setting. He lives with his two dogs, Canela and Tomillo.
